CARS Trade Show PR
HICKORY, NC – With the inaugural Carolina Auto Racing Show (CARS) just over a month away exhibitors are making final preparations in anticipation of big weekend January 13-14, 2012. The 87,000 square foot Hickory Metro Convention Center is nearly full with vendors from coast to coast.
CARS will allow vendors to showcase and sell new product and allow racers to gather in one central place to network, shop and see all the latest in speed trends for short track racing.
“Proud is not the word we would use to describe the show,” said Show Director Jimmy Schiltz. “Excited and amazed are two that come to mind. We have been contacted from industry representatives from all over the circle track racing community that has signed up to be a part of the inaugural show. When we planned CARS we knew there was a need for such an event and the feedback and registration we have obtained backed that up.
There will be seminars, awards banquets, conferences, rules meetings and other special events being held throughout the weekend as part of the CARS Show.
The show will be open to the racing public. Tickets can be purchased at the door for just $10.
“We have a great staff and we are hard at work in making the show a huge success,” said Schiltz. “Our team consists of not only industry representatives but racers themselves who know the challenges and expenses of racing. We have pooled our knowledge together to make sure CARS will be a huge success for all involved.”
