SOPHIA, NC :: Tim Brown earned his seventh Coors Light Pole Award at Caraway Speedway Saturday in qualifying for the Charles Kepley Memorial 150.

Brown was the final car to take time and posted a lap of 15.745 seconds (104.033 mph) around the .455-mile oval. Brown bumped defending tour champion George Brunnhoelzl off the pole. Brunnhoelzl had a lap of 15.823 (103.520). Brown was also fastest in practice.

Andy Seuss qualified third at 15.877 (103.168).

The Charles Kepley Memorial 150 is scheduled for 8 p.m.

John Smith and Jason Myers qualified fourth and fifth, respectively.

Burt Myers qualified sixth, followed by Brian Loftin, Luke Fleming, Danny Bohn and JR Bertuccio.
