LUCAMA, NC :: We are proud to announce that on Friday October 4th and Saturday October 5th, a stand alone vintage racing event will be held at Southern National Motorsports Park in Lucama, North Carolina. This event, called “The Southern Vintage Racecar Nationals”, will feature six divisions of vintage race cars from all over the east coast with all day track time and practice on Friday, and then on Saturday night there will be 35 lap features for each division of cars with many trophies and awards.

This weekend will feature vintage race cars representative of the Modified and Sportsman cars from the late 1950s to the early 1980s from all over the east coast.

A variety of cars from original restored, to replicated recreations will be participating in the festivities during the weekend.  An all day practice and registration will be held on Friday October 4th, and feature event races on Saturday October 5th. This event will also be used as a fund raiser for the Alzheimers Association. A percentage of competitors’ entry fees will go to Alzheimers Association as well as several other fund raising opportunities throughout the weekend.

Come all race car and street rod enthusiasts and take a walk down memory lane to relive the heyday of stock car racing in the South.
