COEBURN, VA :: Rockin’ Ryan Stiltner scored his sixth win of the 2013 season in a double points feature at Lonesome Pine Raceway on Saturday night.  Stiltner started fourth and raced his way to the lead on the second lap, dominating the 60 lap event en route to the win.

Stiltner was second fastest in qualifying with a 16.750 second lap.  The top five cars were inverted putting Stiltner fourth on the grid.  It took Stiltner only two laps to take the lead.  Once he did, he never relinquished it.  Stiltner was never even challenged for the lead except for on the lone restart of the race when he was quickly able to break away from the rest of the field.

“We had a good car tonight,” said Stiltner.  “It was a little bit off from normal.  We’ll have to work on it some more but that’s six out of eight and a second place finish so it doesn’t get much better than that.  Last week’s race was a heck of a battle too.  We just came up .006 seconds short.  We finally got win number six tonight.”

Stiltner has won six out of eight races in 2013 at Lonesome Pine Raceway.  This one was satisfying for Stiltner after a photofinish last weekend where he finished second by inches.

“It was close last week.  I thought I might’ve won it but they told me I was .006 seconds off,” said Stiltner.  “We had a great run and a great race tonight.  Hopefully we’ll keep on rolling.  Hopefully we’ll get number seven when we come back.”

Stiltner has six wins and 11 top five finishes in the 2013 season.  He will be back in action on Friday, June 21st at Kingsport Speedway.
