COEBURN, VA :: Ryan Stiltner set fast time in qualifying, with a blistering pace of 16.42 seconds. The green flag was out and Stiltner jumped to the lead as the top-five sorted out single file. Second-place qualifier, Derek Woodward, suffered problems early i…n the race as his No. 18 machine fell from second to ninth in one lap.

Ed Surrett had qualified sixth began working his way through the field, Surrett would eventually make it to fourth position. On lap 27 Stiltner was continuing his dominant run over Blevins, Hale and Surrett. The first yellow-flag waved on lap 33, when the 47 machine of Ernie Manos stalled on the backstretch. Green-flag back in the air, and this time Stiltner had competition as Brian Blevins started working the outside of Stiltner. That race would not last long as the 17 of Wolfe and the 94 of Jeff Woodward made contact in turn two, sending both cars around, bringing the yellow-flag back out.

Stiltner would charge to the lead as the green-flag waved; Stiltner had a five car-length advantage over Blevins in second. Lance Gatlin began to close in on his former ride on lap 46. Five laps-to-go and Ryan Stiltner continued to pace the field. Stiltner dominated, leading all 60 laps to bring home the checkered in his No. 22 Chevrolet Impala en route to his second career Late Model Division win.

-Mod-4:
Kirby Gobble qualified on pole, but the fans wanted to change the line-up as officials let the fans decide if they would invert. Fans decided to invert the Mod-4 field six places, placing Hershell Robinette on point. Brad Ball quickly took the lead over Robinette followed by Yates and Brown. Caution on lap four, when the No. 31 of Carey Brown spun in turn-four.

Back under green, second place Yates jumped to the top spot. However, the green-flag wasn’t out long when Ball and Gobble got together and spun in turn-two. Both cars were placed in the rear and the field was ready to go back green. Caution again on lap eight when the No. 8 of Ward stalled on the backstretch.

Brown went straight to the lead and Yates began to charge hard on his bumper. When Yates’ car began to push up the track Gobble dove to the inside for second coming off turn-four. Brown continued to hold a three car-length lead over Gobble. Ball, who was anxious to get around Yates drove in a little too hard and spun his No. 17 machine off of turn-two. Back under green, Brown took the lead once again. Gobble was unable to get around Brown, as Brown s drove his No. 91 to victory lane.

-Super Street:
Joey Sykes led the field to the first lap of the 35 lap Super Street feature. His lead wouldn’t last long, when his car slowed off turn-two. Kirby Gobble had started fifth, but quickly raced his way up to second by lap five and was closing in on the No. 25 of Austin. Gobble continued to pressure leader Rob Austin. Gobble had tried everything to get around Austin, but he was not successful. Rob Austin driving his No. 25 Chevrolet Camaro drove to the victory in the uneventful Super Street feature.

-Pure-4:
Marty Shouse qualified on pole with a time of 20.108 seconds. Billy Presley took the lead on lap one over Shouse. Third place John McClanahan began to work on the bumper of the No. 27 of Shouse and clearing him on lap 13. Shouse slowed severely on lap 15, forcing him to the pits. McClanahan working on leader Presley, but Dan Hall came from third-place with a full head of steam. Hall flew to the lead and took the checkered-flag. John McClanahan was eventually named the winner when the No. 88 of Hall was disqualified in post-race inspection.

-Pure Street:
Scotty Hurley was on point for the first Pure Street race on 2013. Hurley cleared second-place Rusty Ratliff racing into turn-one on the first lap. Hurley was untouched, leading all 25 laps and driving to the checkered. Hurley claimed his first career Pure Street victory.

-Iron Warriors:
Rannie Breeding picked-up where he left off in 2012, qualifying on pole for the Iron Warrior feature. Breeding jumped quickly to the lead over Ratliff and Jamie Meadows. No. 69 of Ratliff -got a slight run on Breeding on lap five. Ratliff hard under Breeding in turn-three on lap 15 and took the lead away from Breeding. White flag in the air the two raced single-file into turn-three. Breeding dove hard under the No. 69 of Ratliff, the two came off of turn-four side-by-side. Ratliff and Breeding finished door-to-door with Ratliff barely head of Breeding.
