For the second week in a row, the Solid Rock Carriers CARS LMSC Tour will have a first-time polesitter leading the field to the green flag.
Jonathan Shafer put down a blistering lap of 15.074 to earn the top spot for tonight’s Radley Chevrolet 125. Corey Heim came the closest to knocking Shafer off the pole, but had to settle for second with a 15.110.
Heim’s teammate in Brandon Pierce will line up third on the grid, while Chad McCumbee earned the fourth starting position. Current CARS LMSC Tour points leader Jared Fryar rounded out the Top 5.
Bobby McCarty, who led wire-to-wire in last week’s Cloer Construction 250 at Hickory Motor Speedway, did not get the qualifying run he was looking for and will start tonight’s LMSC feature in 10th.
