SOUTH BOSTON, VA – Layne Riggs and Tate Fogleman picked up the pole position in their respective races during Piedmont Racing Expo knockout qualifying for Saturday’s AutosByNelson.com 250 at South Boston Speedway.
Riggs took the pole in the Late Model Stock Car feature with a 14.794 second lap. Bobby McCarty, who controls his championship destiny, qualified second while Josh Berry, Craig Moore and Timothy Peters rounded out the top-five.
Tate Fogleman, a former PASS Champion, got the pole for the Duragloss Super Late Model race with a 14.480 second lap. Anthony Cataldi, Jeff Batten, Molly Helmuth and Corey Heim rounded out the top-five.
The AutosByNelson.com 250 at South Boston Speedway will go green at 3pm.
