– The 2013 season opening event at the Dillon Motor Speedway in Dillon, SC will kick off with an optional Friday afternoon practice session on April 5th. In addition to the available track time, teams will be allowed to get their race machines inspected by series officials to kick off the 2013 season. – In 2013 the Pro Cup Series will also move back the pit gate opening time to a little later in the morning allowing teams to be able to travel to races the morning of the event with ease. “We want to make our series as affordable as possible while still making sure our competitors get the maximum track time they need to be competitive. Based on feedback this should be a welcome thing to our event schedules,” noted series president, Jack McNelly.
