Myrtle Beach Speedway adds a special twist to the traditional Myrtle Beach 400 weekend to be held November 15th thru the 18th 2012.  Late Model Drivers have an incentive to come and win during the season 100 lap events scheduled for:    Thursday May 31st, Wednesday July 3rd, Thursday August 2nd, Saturday September 1st and Saturday October 6th.

Each of the one hundred lap Late Model races, will be a prelude to the Myrtle Beach 400.  Speedway CEO/Promoter Bob Lutz says, he wants to see the cream of the crop in the Late Model division, have more of reason to run the one hundred lap races and post a win.  Incentive is the key to inspiring drivers and crew members, and the winning team desires more than a trophy.  So how about something out of the ordinary?  Teams can work hard, race hard and score a win and reap the posted rewards.   Win one of the hundred lappers and a driver earns an automatic, guaranteed starting berth in the Four Hundred.  Not just any starting position, but a top seven spot for the green flag.  Seven drivers will have the opportunity to race in the “Dash for Cash” on Saturday after qualifying, for the big race.  The seven drivers in field will draw for their starting positions in the “Dash”.  That’s five one hundred lap winners and the front row off the timing clock in time trials. for two more.  With the pole winner and the second place starter also earning a spot in the “Dash.  Twenty-five hundred dollars will be the posted for the winner and they  will earn the pole for the big race.  Second thru seventh starters will be determined by their finishing order in the “Dash for Cash”.  The distance for the race will be thirty-five laps.

Third place in time trials for the Four Hundred will start eighth in the field.  Drivers of the winning cars in one hundred lap qualifiers will be recipients of the guaranteed starting position.
