Justin Bren will make a return to the Limited Late Model division this season at the Stafford Motor Speedway. His plans are to perform at his best.

Bren won two races last season in the Limited Late Model division and his goal is to double that this season.  He would like to run for a championship this season as he feels those are solid goals for the 2015 season.

Last year was a really good year for Bren. He had come a long way as a driver and started running up front and passing cars better.

“I had a couple flat tires last year that really hurt me in the points, plus an accident,” Bren said.  “But we were a fast car week in and week out and I had lost a lot of weight last summer. That was a huge part of it. I’m in much better shape now than I ever was and it helped.”

Bren is a second generation racer as his father Warren raced at many tracks from Florida to Maine. He started racing 6 Cylinders in the 1970’s. He raced in Pro Stocks and the Modifieds in the 1980s. Justin has learned a lot from his mentor on how to handle different situations. Warren has taught Justin to learn what is going on with the race car. A lot of driving ability he had was out of the box.

“My first time on the track that fall final, by practice three, I was 10th fastest of 18 cars. That’s not bad having never driven a race car prior.”

One of the things, Bren is looking to forward to this season is not worrying about school. It’s the first season Bren has not had to worry about exams. School has always been a distraction when Bren was starting and ending the season.  Bren graduated from Umass-Amherst last December with a degree with Mechanical Engineering.

Bren’s Sponsors for this season are Inland Docks, Bertera Chevy, Tibbetts Optical, George Mack LLC, D&M Auto, Performance Auto, McDonald Builders, and NAPA Auto Parts of Southbridge and Dudley.
