CHARLOTTE, NC :: McCallister Precision Marketing (MPM) and Nesbitt Racing Enterprise announce another great run for 14 year old Cole Glasson in the ninth points race of the Southeast Super Truck Series at Kingsport Speedway.

During practice, Cole was extremely quick running P2 and P3 in the sessions. He fell off a little in qualifying posting a P5 time but still very close to the leader’s time. At the green flag, Cole battled with the front of the field wheel to wheel for the first half of the race. Cole fell as far back as 8th, but after the first caution, found himself in 4th and would not waste any time to battle with the leaders. With about 20 to go, Cole was able to move into 3rd position and run down the first two trucks, but unfortunately ran out of laps. Cole posted his third top 3 finish of the year, his fourth Rookie of the Race, set fast lap time during race, and gained some valuable points for Rookie of the Year. Currently, Cole is sitting 2nd in the rookie of the year chase- 10 points back and 4th in the overall championship race.

Glasson stated, “The truck felt great all weekend, and we were fast right out of the gate. We continue to learn each race and get better. We were able to post some great times in the race and finish third – looking forward to breaking the “third” trend.”

He went on to thank his main financial sponsors of ProSoap and AM Technical Solutions as well as his many other sponsors K1RaceGearDallas Karting ComplexComet Cleaners, and Real Sports Websites.

“I cannot thank ProSoap and AM Technical Solutions enough for their continued support in 2014, and we look forward to the next race at Newport Speedway in two weeks and chasing our first win of the season.”

Tonya McCallister, Glasson’s agent, states “Cole drove incredible all weekend. He raced side by side for several laps giving competitors plenty of room to race and stayed out of trouble. ”

Martin Nesbitt, Team owner, went on to say, “We had one of the best trucks that we have had all year, and Cole showed speed all day. We just needed a late caution or some more laps and we think we could have been in victory lane.”
