Client PR Report

Denton, NC(October 18, 2012) – Clint King enters Martinsville for the first time in his career this weekend, hoping to take home the $25,000 check and grandfather clock in the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300.

King has raced at a variety of tracks in the 2012 season between his late model program and running part-time in the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards. King has five top-ten finishes in six starts in the 2012 ARCA Racing Series season. Now, he’s chasing a dream, racing at Martinsville.

“It’s been a dream of mine to get to race at Martinsville,” said King. “Growing up watching my heros races on that track gave me the desire to one day get to their level. Now, I get the chance to do just that.”

With experience on a variety of tracks in the ARCA Racing Series, King has become used to having to adapt to different track surfaces and configurations. Look for King to do the same at Martinville.

“This race has presented it’s own set of challenges. We blew an engine in testing two weeks ago and had to get another one for the race, but I think my team has it right. We’ve worked hard to get back here for this race and now we just have to have a little luck.”

King is supported by Kenneth Summey Trucking, Warehouse Design, Inc., Lucas Oil Products, Butler Built Seats and Circle Racing Wheels.
