The Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour will make its debut at Franklin County Speedway in Callaway, Virginia on August 22. The race at Franklin County replaces the Puryear Tank Lines Mid-Atlantic Classic presented by Thrifty Tire, originally scheduled for the same date at Orange County Speedway in Rougemont, North Carolina.

Both the Late Model Stock Cars and the Super Late Models will compete on the three-eighths mile track. The Super Late Models and Late Model Stock Cars will run twin 125-lap races.

“While it is unfortunate that we won’t be able to race at Orange County Speedway on August 22, we are excited to bring the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour to Franklin County Speedway for the first time ever,” said CARS Tour President and Owner Jack McNelly. “The high banking at Franklin County makes the track incredibly fast for its size, and we look forward to putting on a show for the race fans in southwestern Virginia.”

For more information about the event at Franklin County, visit the CARS Tour website. All races of the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour are broadcast live on CARSTour.TV.
