With many Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour competitors having never raced at Franklin County Speedway prior to Saturday, experience proved to be crucial in qualifying for both divisions.
Bubba Pollard showcased his quick learning abilities in his first appearance at Franklin County by putting down a blistering lap of 13.369 to earn the pole for the SLM feature.
Local favorite Mike Looney found himself in a tie with CARS LMSC Tour points leader after both posted a 13.707 in qualifying, but Looney got the top starting position with a quicker first lap than Fryar.
The SLM feature will be the first race of the evening followed by the LMSC race. The green flag for the SLM feature will fly at 7:00.
