Salisbury, NC(April 4, 2011) — RACE22 Radio presented by Performancenter Racing Warehouse is gearing up for the fifth episode of the popular new show.

This week, hosts Langley Austin, Corey Latham and Roger Johnson will be joined in studio by a pair of race winners from this past weekend. Motor Mile Speedway, Late Model Stock Car winner, Lee Pulliam will join us in “Studio 22” to discuss his big season opening win on the 4/10 mile track. Pulliam, who was with us a few weeks ago to preview the upcoming season will be back to discuss his early season woes at South Boston Speedway and to talk about his move to Motor Mile for the championship this season.

Another winner from the past weekend that will join us Live in “Studio 22” will be Dexter Canipe, Jr., who picked up his first win of the season on Friday night in Tri-County Motor Speedway’s season opening event. Canipe, the son of former NASCAR Whelen All-American Series National Champion, Dexter, Sr. is carving out a place for himself in the Late Model Stock Car world in recent seasons. Canipe, Jr. won both the Late Model Stock Car and Limited Late Model championships at Tri-County in 2009 before making a run at the Late Model championship at Hickory last season. He’ll stop by to discuss his big season opening win as well as his plans for the 2011 season.

Also joining us in studio will be former UARA-STARS Series winner and championship contender and driver development team owner, Jamie Yelton. Yelton has certainly made a name for himself over the years since moving to Late Model Stock Cars from his tenacious, take no prisoners style of racing to more recently helping to put young drivers on the map. Yelton will stop by to discuss his part-time racing career as well as the trials and triumphs of being a Driver Development team owner.

Young up and coming driver, Jake Crum will also be Live in “Studio 22” to discuss his racing plans for the 2011 season. Crum, was recently selected to be a part of Joey Coulter Motorsports’ driver development program to compete in selected Late Model Stock Car races. Crum, also plans to compete in select NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events this season if sponsorship can be found. We’ll sit him down and talk to him about all of his racing plans and where you might be seeing him on the track next.

We’ll also be joined in the studio by NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Series competitor and former NASCAR Goody’s Dash Series winner at Bristol, Zach Brewer. Brewer will stop by to discuss his performance this past weekend at Hickory Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified race. At Hickory, Brewer got into a late race scuffle with James Civali, who was leading the race on a green, white, checkered finish that led to Brewer’s teammate, George Brunnhoelzl III, picking up his second straight win.

The RACE22 Radio hosts Langley Austin, Corey Latham and Roger Johnson will also discuss the weekend that was around the racing region. They’ll discuss the races from around the region including a bizarre weekend of racing, snow, rain and sunshine at Motor Mile Speedway’s opener as well as a chilly opener at Tri-County Motor Speedway. We’ll also chat about the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East opener and NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified series race at Hickory and several other races throughout the region.
