Following Saturday night’s ValleyStar Credit Union 300, race director Lynn Carroll sat down for a press conference with the media.  The 20-minute press conference was, at times, combative and ultimately ended with Carroll walking out when asked by Race22.com’s Langley Austin why he could change some rules and not others.

Carroll addressed the rule changes during the weekend with weight and engines, the decision to penalize Layne Riggs and not Peyton Sellers, and the controversial finish in which CE Falk was awarded the win despite video evidence clearly showing Heim ahead when the caution came out.

Martinsville Speedway aired it live on Periscope and Race22 has archived video of the press conference.
