Austin Thaxton picked up the win in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stock Car 100-lap race at South Boston Speedway on Saturday March 19, 2016. Matt Bowling drove from midpack to second at the finish after winning the first two races of the season a week ago. Mark Wertz was the beneficiary of contact between Lee Pulliam and Peyton Sellers on the final lap and finished third.
