LUCAMA, NC :: 2012 Series Champion, Travis Swaim fasted the first practice session of the year on Friday afternoon at the Southern National Motorsports Park. Swaim lapped the four tenth’s of a mile track in 15.224 seconds. Newcomer Brodie Kostecki was second with a 15.257 lap time. Devin Jones sat third with a 15.336 second lap time. Ronnie Bassett, Jr. and David Garbo, Jr. where fourth and fifth after the first session.
