Rockingham, NC(December 22, 2011) — Entering the 2011 UARA-STARS Late Model Series season, Brennan Poole was the odds on favorite to win the series championship after defending series champion Coleman Pressley moved on to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East.

Poole didn’t disappoint, collecting four victories early in the season and cruising to his first UARA championship. But much like Pressley, Poole’s time with UARA has now come to an end.

“I plan on running full time in 2012 in the ARCA (Racing) Series in the Venturini No. 25,” Poole announced after claiming the series championship.

The move isn’t shocking given the success Poole had in 2011. In addition to his championship and four victories in UARA competition, Poolestunned many onlookers when he found his way to victory lane in his ARCA Racing Series debut at Salem Speedway in Indiana while driving for Venturini Motorsports.

In addition to his victory at Salem, Poole also earned a pole and fifth-place finish at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa. Based on his success this year, fans should expect big things from Poole in 2012 while driving for Venturini Motorsports.

“A championship sticks with you forever,” Poole said of his UARA crown. “It was a goal we had set out for this year and I feel like we went out and accomplished it.”

Accomplish it he did.
