Sunday, March 14th could go down as one of the greatest opening days in Caraway Speedway’s 56-year history.

The SMART Modified Tour has one of the strongest entry lists in a long time. That list is headlined by most of the southern Modified regulars including Jeremy Gerstner, Brian Loftin, Tim Brown, Jason and Burt Myers, Tom Buzze, Jr., Mike Norman and many more hoping to spoil Bobby Labonte’s return to his old home track.

Frank Fleming returns to the tour along with John Smith driving for new car owner, Buddy Ellis, Michael Clifton brings the Clifton Plumbing Modified back to the tour and several “outsiders” including “Big Money” Matt Hirschman, Jeff Fultz, Ronnie Williams and Caleb Heady in the 7NY owned by Tommy Baldwin populate the entry list. Toss in Mike Norman, Daniel Yates, Jimmy Wallace, Dennis Holdren, Gary Putnam, James Civali, Jared Fryar and Daniel Beeson and more, and you have the making of a very strong Modified field

Many of the Caraway regulars will be on hand to begin their quest for Saturday night glory at Caraway Speedway.
