COEBURN, VA :: Now in its second season, the Southeast Super Truck Series will head to LPR for Southwest Tool Rental Night at The Pine. The Mod-4, Super Street, Pure-4, Pure Street and Iron Warrior divisions will also be in action Saturday.

With only two races into the series for the Southeast Super Trucks, Kevin Leight has started out the 2013 season strong in his No. 25 machine. Leight won the series’ first race of the season at Hickory Motor Speedway and racked-up a respectful second-place finish, in the SEST Series second race, at Anderson Motor Speedway. Leight is currently tied for first-place in the SEST standings with the No. 33 of Kenneth Headen. Headen won the second SEST race at Anderson Motor Speedway.

Kirby Gobble and Rocky Yates continue to dominate the Mod-4 division. Gobble and Yates each have one win after the first three races. Gobble currently leads the Mod-4 point standings by two points over Yates. Brad Ball and Hershell Robinette are also showing strength, both drivers have finished in the top-5 in all three Mod-4 events this season.

Rob Austin has dominated the Super Street division thus far in 2013. Austin has won all three events so far and currently leads the championship standings. Joey Sykes has finished second in the past two Super Street races and has yet to let the No. 25 of Austin out of his sight.

John McClanahan leads the Pure-4 point standings by eight points over the No. 20 of Billy Presley. McClanahan has won two races in 2013, but McClanahan hasn’t had it easy. Many drivers have shown strength in the first three races this season. McClanahan will have some tough competition for the remainder of the season.

Brian Herraney dominated the last Pure Street feature (April 20) to take home his first victory of the season. Scotty Hurley has won Pure Street races in 2013. Hurley leads the standing by only four points over the No. 9 of Rusty Ratliff.

Emory Ratliff has started off 2013 strong in the Iron Warrior division and leads the standings over the No. 1 of Rannie Breeding. Ratliff won the first two races, while Jamie Meadows brought home the April 20th victory.
