Salisbury, NC(March 18, 2011) — The RACE22.com staff has been working feverishly over the last couple of weeks to build a successful radio show to help Short Track Racers to gain exposure and reach more people for their sponsors.

RACE22 Radio is off and running to a great start after two successful shows in the first two weeks from our new “Studio 22” in Historic Salisbury, NC at the World Headquarters of RACE22.com. In the first two shows, RACE22 Radio has featured 15 different guests and brought fans and racers alike the most in-depth radio coverage of Short Track Racing.

RACE22 Radio even in it’s short lifespan has seen a handful of changes including starting on Monday night and having to move the second show to Thursday due to the three day weekend of racing and very little prep time.

“We hated to move the show this week from our Monday time slot,” said RACE22.com webmaster and RACE22 Radio host, Langley Austin. “It wasn’t an easy decision this past week to do that, but the bottom line was with the opening race weekend spanning three days and us being behind on preparing for Monday night’s show, we had to move it.”

“We quickly figured out that Thursday isn’t a good night for a short track radio show,” continued Austin. “It sounded like a good idea at first, but then when lining up guest a lot of them had other plans and couldn’t commit. Even some of the ones we reached via telephone were hard to reach due to scrambling on their cars for the upcoming race weekend.”

RACE22 Radio will return to it’s Monday night 7:00 to 9:00pm slot time this Monday, March 21st with what we hope will be an even better show than we’ve had the last two weeks.

“We’re hoping to line up a stellar show for this week. We’re hoping to get Ace Speedway promoter, Brad Allen and track announcer, Tyler Williams on to preview their season opener next Friday night. Plus, we hope to have some of the winners from the upcoming weekend here in studio as well.”

We also hope to connect with Jonathan “John Boy” Brown, who was scheduled to be on this past week and was unable to make it due to work conflicts.

RACE22 Radio will go LIVE at 7:00pm on Monday night with hosts Langley Austin, Corey Latham and Roger Johnson.
