RACE22.com Radio Ready for Launch, To be Presented by Performancenter Racing Warehouse
For Immediate Release

Salisbury, NC(March 3, 2011) — RACE22.com has been through a complete metamorphosis since it was first launched as a Late Model only website back in September 2007.

We now cover a little bit of everything from our traditional Late Model Stock Car roots to adding Super Late Models, Modifieds, Limited Late Models, Touring Series and even Grassroots racing. RACE22.com has also gone from not having any type of LIVE race coverage to adding a twitter feed for limited LIVE coverage to utilizing the CoverItLive system to bring you up to the minute updates as well as photos and even video.

Now, RACE22.com is prepared to take another step in the media world as we introduce our first LIVE Radio Show next week. RACE22.com Radio will be born on Monday, March 7th at 7:00pm. We will feature a two hour show on our first night with guest from all over the region to talk racing and preview many of the races on opening weekend next weekend.

RACE22.com founder, Langley Austin and Corey Latham, one of the websites most colorful characters will anchor the show from the RACE22.com World Headquarters in Salisbury, NC.

“This is going to be pretty cool,” said Austin of the launch of the new show. “We have been wanting to do this for a while, but things just haven’t worked out and now we’ve got all the pieces together to do this right.”

“It’s going to be something that can bring a lot of attention to this regions racers from the Late Model Stock guys to Modifieds, Super Lates and Limiteds. We’ll feature all the racing in the region on the show each week and have guest appearances in “Studio 22″ as we’re calling it, by many of short track racing’s personalities.”

Once it was decided to do the show, RACE22.com didn’t have to look far when it came time to find a presenting sponsor as Performancenter Racing Warehouse and the LTO Chassis have come on board to help launch the show. Performancenter’s new owner, Roger Johnson will also be on the panel each week to help bring a technical insiders aspect to the show.

“It was an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up,” said Johnson. “RACE22.com has become the center of racing in this region and to put our name with this new project is an honor. I’m looking forward to being on the show each week and trying to give a unique perspective.”

RACE22.com is proud to have Performancenter Racing Warehouse and the LTO Chassis supporting the new endeavor.

“Having Performancenter come on board before we even go on the air the first time says a lot,” said Austin. “Roger(Johnson) and Kim(Kurzejewski) have been doing a great job with Performancenter since taking over ownership last fall. It will be interesting to have Roger on the show each week mixing it up with Corey and myself, because he knows a lot about the chassis’ and how things work. He will bring a wealth of knowledge to the show that will certainly intrigue fans and racers alike.”

Doc Love with Victory Lane Productions has been a supporter and contributor of RACE22.com from the beginning. Love has always made RACE22.com a key part of his signiture show, “Kickin’ Asphalt” as well as his live race broadcasts. Love will serve as the producer for RACE22.com Radio and will also provide weekly commentary, driver interviews and race reports during the ‘Kickin’ Asphalt” segment of the show.

RACE22.com will launch “RACE22.com Radio presented by Performancenter” on Monday, March 7th from 7:00 to 9:00pm. We will be sending out another press release on Sunday releasing a complete list of guests for the first show, but you can be sure that we’ll preview the PASS South Series season opener at Anderson, SC as well as the UARA-STARS Series opener at Hickory, the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Series opener at Caraway and the weekly track openers at South Boston, Greenville and Kingsport.
