Fantasy Predictions for 2016 Season

Top Three Drivers
1 – Jim Kelley – His name has been synonymous with Super Late Models in the region for many years but as he makes a return to racing “Big” Jim Kelley is poised to take the 2016 track championship at Carteret with more racing experience than anyone competing full time.

2 – Chris Burns – He’s spent most of his career racing at Coastal Plains Raceway but with the new track now open he’s ready to make a run for the title at Carteret.

3 – Zach Henshaw – He’s usually a competitor at East Carolina Motor Speedway but this season he appears to be running for the championship at Carteret and he’ll be in the mix all season long.

Other Front Runners
Haley Moody – By most accounts she had the fastest car at the Labor Day race last fall and when she makes some starts this season we expect she’ll be ready to get a Carteret win.

Bradley McCaskill – When he ventures out anywhere he’s a front runner so we expect nothing less when he makes his way to Carteret.

Tim Allensworth – He’s been a contender at Dillon and Coastal Plains and when he comes to Carteret we expect nothing different.

Breakthrough Driver
Zach Henshaw – While we think he’ll be a title contender as well, we feel that this is the season and Carteret is the place that Henshaw will break through and get a win this season.

Rookie Threat
No known Rookies expected to compete at Carteret.
