ROUGEMONT, NC :: Orange County Speedway is very excited to announce the release of the 2015 Schedule. OCS Director of Operations, Terry Deal stated, “This is going to be a great year for OCS. It has taken us several years to get to this point, but I believe we finally have the right people in the right places.”  Many other tracks in the area are struggling with uncertainties in their future. Orange County Speedway’s future remains strong and consistent.

Deal attributes a business plan that he instated four years ago as the key to OCS’s stability. This plan has also allowed for desperately needed renovations and improvement. The 2015 schedule is very promising and with the right staff it should be a very exciting year for OCS.

The goal of this schedule was to continue to build an OCS tradition, while working with surrounding short tracks in the area. Deal stated, “It’s in every tracks best interest to work together to put on the best shows for the fans.” OCS’s five regular racing divisions will be running every second and fourth Saturday of the month from April through October. All races unless otherwise noted will be held at the traditional start time of 7 P.M.

In addition to the regular OCS division races, the new schedule consists of three visits from two outside touring series. The first visit will be from the newly transformed CARS Late Model and Super Late Model Touring Series. The second will be the ever popular KOMA Unwind Modified Madness Series, which features NASCAR Stars such as Jeremy Mayfield, Burt Myers, Jason Myers, and Tim Brown.

After receiving feedback from fans and drivers, rain dates were added to the schedule. With the unpredictability of mother nature and with the increased number of cancelled races in previous years, it was in the best interest of all. In addition twin races have been added to make up for potentially lost race dates in all divisions.
