In an email sent last week to NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stock Car track operators, NASCAR officials confirmed the Chevrolet Upgrade engine package would receive a new intake for 2019.

The Edelbrock 2975 Victor Jr. intake will be given to teams running the Chevrolet Upgrade engine package also known as the Spec engine for the 2019 season.  This change comes on the heels of an upgrade already being given to the Ford SR347 engine in November.

The change comes as NASCAR Whelen All-American Series officials hope to level the playing field after a season of domination by the Harrington Enforcer engine in 2018.  No additional changes have been made to the Enforcer for 2019.

No decision has been made on the spindle and center link issue from the track operators meeting but that decision is expected to made soon.  We will post any information when it is available.
