PUNTA GORDA, FL :: It was cool at Three Palms Speedway in Punta Gorda, Florida on Saturday night but the action on the track was hot.

In Outlaw 4s action, Michael Hart from St. Petersburg Florida in his 99 Dodge Neon took top honors over teenage Kristen Milthaler from North Port Florida. Johnny Marra was third. Hart’s wife Brittany finished fourth.

Lance Sober won again in Thunder Trucks. He fought a hard battle with James Wright number 62 Chevrolet truck. Punta Gorda’s own Richard Nelson rounded out the top three.

The TQ Midgets ran two feature events and the top finishing order was the same for both features. Rob Kohler from Naples Florida won. Rick Bular and Jamie Barnum were second and third respectively. Mike Nelson was fourth.

The touring Outlaw Modifieds were in action also with two features. Richard Nelson pulling double duty won the first feature event. 2014 Series Champion Mike Endee was second in a back and forth battle. Tom Myers finished third. Fourth went to Ric Mills. Kevin Endee founded out the top five. All the way from Willimington North Carolina Cliff Willman in his 00 was sixth.

The second feature saw defending champion Mike Endee take the checkers over Richard Nelson. Tom Myers finished third giving him a pair of third place finishes for the evening.

Three Palms will be in action this Saturday with rounds three and four of the Three Palms Drift. Racing action resumes the 28th of February at the track in Punta Gorda, Florida.
