COPPER HILL, VA :: Thousands of readers clicked on RACE22.com on Wednesday for Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 Test Day Live Coverage presented by Five Star RaceCar Bodies and JRi Shocks.  The event was the most viewed live event in RACE22.com history.

“Thousands of people followed our coverage of testing on Wednesday,” RACE22.com Owner and Webmaster Langley Austin said.  “Earlier this year, we had to move our site over to new servers after the PASS race at Hickory because our old hosting couldn’t keep up with the traffic.  We even had some glitches on Wednesday in spite of all that with how many people checked out testing coverage.  Honestly though, that’s a nice problem to have.”

There is a lot of hype and excitement over the upcoming race at Martinsville as over 90 cars tested on Wednesday.

“The fans are definitely excited about this one,” RACE22.com Editor Andy Marquis said.  “We had a lot of comments and feedback during our live coverage.  It seems like a lot of people are interested in whether Lee Pulliam can cap off a perfect season with a second grandfather clock.  There are also a lot of rivalries that have surfaced over the season that will boil up on race day.”

Testing gave an idea of who should be fast.  Lee Pulliam enters the race as the favorite but other drivers, such as Philip Morris, David Garbo, Blake Jones, Ben Rhodes and Dillon Bassett, among others, hope to spoil Pulliam’s party.

“One of the great things about Martinsville is, you don’t know who’s going to win,” Marquis stated.  “Right now, any one of those guys and girls out there could make the race and there are at least 10 cars that could win.  This is going to be an instant classic all the way to the wire and all of us at RACE22.com are excited to deliver coverage to the fans that can’t make it out on race day.”

RACE22.com will continue to have coverage leading up to the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 and then, on race weekend, the RACE22.com team will be back at it with Five Star RaceCar Bodies Live Coverage presented by JRi Shocks.  Race day in the Virginia is for Racing Lovers 300 will be on Sunday, October 6th.
