COEBURN, VA :: The wait is finally over! Following a long, cold winter and an off season filled with changes, the first green flag will wave this Saturday, April 12 at Lonesome Pine Raceway.

NASCAR racing returns to The Pine for the first time since 2004 for Saturday’s Food City Night at The Pine. LPR joined the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series during the off season. “NASCAR brings tremendous opportunities to our fans, teams and sponsors,” said new promoter and general manager Karen Tunnell.

Beginning this season, LPR is partnering with Kingsport (TN) Speedway. Providing racers with the same rules, management and officials for both tracks. Look for multiple drivers from The Concrete Jungle to make the trek to The Pine.

Pit gates are set to open at 1 p.m., grandstands open at 4 p.m. and the first green flag of the season flies at 7 p.m.! Adult admission is $10. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
