BERWICK, ME :: Joey Doiron will begin his 2014 campaign this weekend at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Easly, South Carolina for the first Pro All Stars Series South event of the season.  Doiron will start his season behind the wheel of Dickie Woodman’s #4 Super Late Model.  Last year, Doiron opened up the season with a win at Auburndale Speedway, leading to his best season since joining the Late Model ranks.  He’s hoping he can start this season out the same way.

“I am just really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things,” Doiron said of this weekend, “I can’t thank Dickie Woodman enough for the opportunity, we are going to learn a lot from him and Daniel Hemric (Doiron’s teammate this weekend), hopefully we can learn a few things that we can apply to our own program this year.”

This will be Doiron’s first trip to Greenville-Pickens Speedway. One of the oldest short tracks in the country, this half mile flat track is one of the toughest in the country.  Doiron is planning on racing in three races for the Woodman Racing team in PASS South events. The 2014 PASS South season kicks off this Saturday, March 1st at 6:00 PM.
