Hickory Motor Speedway announced tonight that they’ve been forced to postpone their season opener set for tomorrow March 9th and reset it for next Saturday, March 16th.
The event will remain the same as this week’s planned race with the addition of the Renegades division competing as well. Twin 40-lap Late Model Stock Cars and a 50-lap Limited Late Model Big 10 race will be the features of the night with Street Stocks, Super Trucks and Renegades joining them on the schedule.
The twin Late Model Stock Car races could draw a strong contingent of cars given the CARS Tour race that follows as teams could use the races as a test and tune. More info at HickoryMotorSpeedway.com
