McCallister Precision Marketing (MPM) and Nesbitt Racing Enterprises announce another top 5 finish for 14 year old Cole Glasson in the #12 ProSoap / AM Technical Solutions / Driven Steering Wheels machine at Anderson Motor Speedway.

The youngster had his best qualifying effort to date only 4/100th’s off the pole sitter putting him in third position for the opening laps. In addition, Cole had very consistent practice sessions staying in the top 3 all afternoon leading up to qualifying. The race would bring its challenges early in the race; Glasson was attempting to over take second position when contact was made between the two trucks resulting in the other spinning out.  Series officials made the decision to send Cole the rear of the 20-truck field. Glasson worked his way back up to P4 with less than 10 to go when a late caution came out. Starting on the outside would find him shuffled back several spots and he was able to recapture P4 finish when a wild last lap caution came out penalizing the front runner. The finish would give Glasson his second consecutive top 5 to open the season and move him into P2 for the Championship Points Race.

Glasson stated, “We expect to get some wins this year and be a contender for the title. We just have to remain consistent, smart, and qualify well.” He went on to thank his main financial sponsors of ProSoap, AM Technical Solutions, Driven Steering Wheels as well as his many other sponsors K1RaceGear, Dallas Karting Complex, Comet Cleaners, American Workshop and Real Sports Websites. “I cannot thank my sponsors and supporters enough getting us to this point. We are looking to keep our run going as long as we can.”

Tonya McCallister, Glasson’s agent, states “We are thrilled with the results opening up the season. We are going to try and keep the top 5 runs going as long as we can. Cole continues to learn and improve each race.”  Martin Nesbitt, Team owner, went on to say, “We have to remain consistent in qualifying in the top 5 each race so we are up with the leaders at the end of the race. We have had a good run the last half of last season and into this season and are making gains each race.”
