CHARLOTTE, NC :: McCallister Precision Marketing (MPM) and Nesbitt Racing Enterprises announce solid results for 13 year old Cole Glasson in his debut race at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in the Southeast Super Truck Series. Cole showed up for the first time ever at Greenville-Pickens and quickly picked up the racing line and gained speed every time out. Come qualifying time, Cole put the #12 ProSoap and AMTS truck in 5th position overall having the best qualifying time of all rookies and sitting behind four track champions in the order. With the invert of the top six qualifiers, Cole found himself starting on Pole in his first ever truck race. During the race, Cole found himself battling in a five truck pack most of the race for positions 3-7. On lap 34, Cole was pinched down in between turns 1 and 2 causing him to spin and make contact with the inside wall. With damage to the front of the truck, he had to make two yellow flag pit stops for the Nesbitt Racing crew to attend to the front end. By the end of the 75 lap race, Cole was able to work his way back up from the tail of the field to the same five car pack he left at lap 34. Cole would cross the line in the 7th spot in a nose to tail finish.

Glasson stated, “I am very happy with the results at Greenville-Pickens and hope to build on the confidence gained. I could have improved on my top five qualifying as I made a mistake coming out of turn 2 on my final lap. I was also thrilled to have a top five truck all weekend. Thanks to my crew for giving me great equipment.” He went on to thank his main financial sponsors of ProSoap and AM Technical Solutions as well as his many other sponsors K1RaceGear, Dallas Karting Complex, Comet Cleaners, and Tyler Web Design. “I cannot thank ProSoap and AM Technical Solutions enough for their continued support in 2014, and we look forward to building on the season opener at Hickory.”

Tonya McCallister, Glasson’s agent, states “I could not be happier with the results. Had you told me we would have showed up at our first truck race and qualified in the top 5 and started on Pole, I would have thought that would have been a huge accomplishment and we did both. ” Martin Nesbitt, Team owner, went on to say, “Cole and Taylor had great results in their opening race of the season as they could have easily finished in the top 5 had conditions been a little different. We are looking forward to Hickory and the beginning of the point’s season as we are confident both will have a shot at Rookie of the Year.”
