CHARLOTTE, NC :: McCallister Precision Marketing (MPM) and Nesbitt Racing Enterprise announce tough results for 13 year old Cole Glasson in the fourth point’s race of the Southeast Super Truck Series at Tri-County Speedway. Cole showed up leading the Rookie title race by four points and sitting in the 2nd spot of the Championship and looked to build on the early season success.  During practice, Cole quickly picked up the track and was sitting in P5 and P7 after the practice sessions of the 18 truck field. However, during qualifying, the clutch started to slip and he could only post a time good enough for P9. At the green flag, Cole was shuffled back a couple of spots before an early caution had him doing another restart. On the restart Cole was shuffled back deep in the field and had to hang on the next 74 green flag laps to salvage a P11 finish. Although he would record his first non- Top 10 finish of the year, he was still able to stay in contention for Rookie of the Year and the Championship.

Glasson stated, “I felt I had a really good truck, but tonight wasn’t our night and we will have better luck in the upcoming races. The team did an awesome job getting the truck perfect, and we felt we had a great race truck.” He went on to thank his main financial sponsors of ProSoap and AM Technical Solutions as well as his many other sponsors K1RaceGear, Dallas Karting Complex, Comet Cleaners, R&B Graphics, and Real Sports Websites. “I cannot thank ProSoap and AM Technical Solutions enough for their continued support in 2014, and we look forward to building on the results at the next race at Kingsport Raceway in another couple of weeks.”

Tonya McCallister, Glasson’s agent, states “While we were hoping for better results, we raced very hard and felt we gave it all we had; unfortunately, the results did not show our effort. We are still in solid contention for Rookie of the Year, only one point back.” Martin Nesbitt, Team owner, went on to say, “We wish we didn’t have the bad luck with the clutch because we had a very good handling truck for the race and felt we could have another solid finish; we will regroup and go attack Kingsport.”
