KINGSPORT, TN :: Kingsport Speedway isn’t finished with the 2015 season just yet.

Officials with “The Concrete Jungle” announced the Fright Night 300 to be held on Saturday, Oct. 31. The event will feature a 125-lap, $6,000-to-win Late Model Stock Car race, 50-lap, $1,000-to-win Street Stock race and a 40-lap, $500-to-win Pure 4 race.

Fast qualifier awards will include $500 each for LMSC and Street Stock, and $100 for the Pure 4 division. Three 20-lap heat races and two promoter’s provisionals will set the field after qualifying is complete for the 125-lap main event.

“We’re extremely excited to close out the 50th anniversary season with the first annual Fright Night 300 on Halloween,” said Karen Tunnell, general manager and promoter. “The Stiltners and the Lovens have really come together to make this event possible.”

A costume contest for children is also planned, along with many other special activities to close out the season.

Event start times and admission prices will be annouced in the near future.

Open practice will be held on Friday, Oct. 30 from 11 AM until dark. $20 for car and driver, and $10 for crew members.
