Top Late Model Stock Cars drivers from around the region are expected to converge on Franklin County Speedway on November 9th and November 10th for the 125-lap, $2,000-to-win Bullring Battle.

“We’re excited about putting this event together,” Track Promoter Langley Austin said.  “This is our premier event of the season and we’re looking at a large field of cars out here for this race.”

Teams will be able to purchase brand new, sticker Hoosier F-45 tires for the race which should pave the way for the fastest lap times turned in at Franklin County Speedway all season.  The race should also boast one of the largest fields at Franklin County Speedway in years with $2,000 on the line to win.

“We run on scuff tires, which are dismounts from other area tracks during the regular season but with this race we wanted to ramp things up and make it more interesting,” added Austin.  “Allowing the teams to purchase new tires will add another dimension to this race that our fans haven’t seen all year.

“A lot of drivers have already expressed interest in a race like this.  We hope this race stands out as one of the best races in the region this season and gives us a marquee event to build on in the future.  The drivers who race here love coming to this place and I’m sure a lot of new guys who come will want to keep coming back.  This should also be a great race for the fans.”

Entry forms will be posted on the Moonshine Capital Promotions website and more details as well as the race format will be announced at a future date.

“We’re looking to have a very unique format for this race,” concluded Austin.  “Everything we do at Franklin County Speedway we like to put our own stamp on it, so look for some interesting things to be added to this event.  This is sure to be among the races that all the fans in this region will be talking about in the off-season.”
