ROUGEMONT, NC :: In what was the first 2014 appearance for both drivers, Terry Dease and Justin Snow scored victories in

twin 40 lappers for late model stocks during the Chad Pergerson/Kevin Bowen Memorial night at Orange County Speedway on Saturday night.

Dease outran Mike Chambers and Chuck Lawson to take race number one and reflected on his triumph in victory lane.

“This is home,” he stated. “I’ve been trying some other places during the season and haven’t been able to get over here ,but this is my home track and always has been .”

After hitting the third turn wall and retiring from race one, Snow took race two for his first ever late model win at the track.  Mike Chambers and Chris Denny completed the podium.

“This is a special win for me,” Snow elaborated.  “I won the Rodney Cook Memorial earlier this year (at nearby Ace Speedway)  and Rodney was a good friend. I feel like Chad and Kevin were good friends too.”

Chuck Lawson and Dennis Sargent Jr. shared the wins in twin 20’s for limited sportsman competitors. Lawson edged Jerry Hinesley with Chris Gray third. Sargent won race two after several cars were involved in a first lap crash.  Jerry Hinesley, Donnie Puryear Jr. and Daniel Schadt were eliminated and the car of Chuck Lawson had heavy sheet metal damage. Lawson’s crew made repairs and he was able to charge back to second with Justin Newlin finishing third.
