RALEIGH, NC :: The weather was cool last night but the action on the track was red hot at Wake County Speedway. Goldsboro speedster Clay Jones picked up another win on the season in the Metal Depot Late Model 50 lap feature. Jeremy Ottaway, Raleigh and Patrick Arch, Clayton were victory lane bound in the 25 lap UCAR/ 4 Cylinder Pepsi Kick Start Mini-Mayhem feature. Dillon Spain, Clayton won both 20 lap Legend features with Bandolero features winners Austin Janocha and Kade Lambert. Dennis “The Dominator” Capps,Garner was the Modified 4 Cylinder winner.

Clay Jones, Goldsboro started shotgun on the field in last night’s 50 lap Metal Depot Late Model event and drove through the field in his Pro Coating LM to secure another trip to victory lane. Jones fought hard in the hotly contested event with Raleigh’s Bradley McCaskill; rubbing and racing hard at America’s Favorite Bullring. Jones thanked his crew, his family, friends and fans from victory lane. Garner driver Alex Fleming finished in 2nd place followed by Bobby Gower and McCaskill  with Dillon Wilson rounding out the top 5 finishers.

Twin Bandolero features produced 2 different victory lane celebrations.In the evenings 1st event Austin Janocha was your victor followed under the waving checkered flag by Kade Lambert, Bradley Wilson, Ethan Johnson and Dustin Yeoman. The 2nd feature event winner was Kade who held off Austin, Bradley, Dustin and Henry Broadbent.

The Legend drivers also ran twin features last night with Dillon Spain grabbing the “W” in both events. Spain held off Will Bristle, Jason Austin, Zack Brown and Caleb Day in the opening feature. The nightcap feature top five were Spain, Bristle, Austin, Day and Brenton Irving.

The first 2014 appearance of the Modified 4 Cylinder class had a familiar face in victory lane. Multi-time track champ Dennis “The Dominator” Capps, Garner had his Cleveland Draft Ford Fusion in the wind last night. Keith Oliver came home in 2nd place followed by Brandon Baker, Matthew Denton and A.J. Saunders.All results are unoffical pending tech results.

Jeremy Ottaway, Raleigh has run great all season; he just needed to attend a wedding to seal the victory. The UCAR/ 4 Cylinder Pepsi Kick Start Mini-Mayhem feature winner also started shotgun on the field and roared to victory in the 25 lap feature event. Ottaway held off Justin Fussell,Apex, A.J. Saunders , Jessie Richardson, Knightdale and Michael Tucker. Patrick Arch, Clayton was your winner in the UCARS over Kristin Gault, Raleigh, Jim Bounds, Dwayne Godwin and Dallas Stephenson.
