Eight time Bowman Gray Stadium Modified Champion Burt Myers will have a busy schedule on Saturday October 7th at Ace Speedway. The veteran driver will compete in the twin Jerry Hunt Supercenter Modified races as well as the 140-lap $10,000 to win Late Model Stock Car race.

Myers announced via his Facebook page that he’ll be behind the wheel of the Kyle Busch Motorsports #51 Late Model Stock Car for the Rodney Cook Classic event. Despite being a Modified standout at Bowman Gray Stadium and on the different Southern Modified Tours over the years Myers does have some experience in fendered cars.

He most recently competed in a Limited/Sportsman race at Caraway Speedway for the Labor Day Triple Header picking up a victory. He also competed many times in a Late Model Stock Car back in the pavement days of Friendship Motor Speedway.

The Rodney Cook Classic takes place on Saturday October 7th at Ace Speedway. Race22.com will have RACEDAY Live Coverage of the event from start to finish.
