Josh Berry survived a late-race challenge in the 150-lap NASCAR Whelen All American Bojangles’ Late Model feature to celebrate Victory Lane in Round 9 of the Paramount Kia “Big 10” Chase for the Championship in the 38 th Annual Bobby Isaac Memorial presented by Paramount Automotive Group. Current Bojangles’ Late Model point leader, Josh Berry (No. 88) earned the pole position for the special 150-lap Bobby Isaac Memorial feature event. Berry remained out front during the early laps, as the No. 12 of Austin McDaniel, No. 21 of Travis Swaim, No. 9 of William Byron and the No. 25 of Matt Piercy jockeyed for position behind him. The first caution of the night was displayed on lap 79 when the No. 77 of CJ Hulsey and No. 8 of David Garbo made contact down the front stretch, sending Hulsey hard into the turn one outside wall. The red flag was displayed for extensive track cleanup, and the field returned to green on lap 93, with Berry maintaining the front spot.

As Berry extended his lead, Piercy had comfortably taken over the second position, as the No. 44 of Dillon Bassett worked his way from this 23 rd -place starting spot to the top five. The final caution was displayed on lap 147 with 3 laps remaining for the No. 88 of Doug Barnes whose car had come to a stop on the track, setting up for an epic three-lap shoot out to the end. Berry held off challenges by Piercy and Bassett to pick up the win after leading all 150 laps . Piercy claimed a second-place finish. The No. 98 of Todd Gilliland, Bassett and the No. 23 Payton Ryan rounded out the top five.

Kyle Mansch (No. 17) led the field to green in the Gold King Limited Late Model event, and was slowly pulling away from the competition when the caution flag was displayed on lap two for a multi-car wreck on the backstretch. Mansch maintained his lead over the field during several additional caution periods, until contact with the No. 77 of Travis Byrd on lap 38 would bring out the fourth caution of the night.

As green-flag racing resumed, the No. 77 of Travis Byrd took over the top position and immediately received pressure from the No. 5 of Dexter Canipe Jr. for the lead. The fifth and final caution came out on lap 39 for another multi-car incident on the backstretch, Canipe Jr. used the restart to his advantage taking over the lead when the field returned to green. Canipe Jr. fended off Byrd during the final laps to pick up the win, leaving Byrd to settle for second. The No. 11 of Dillon Houser had a great picked up a third-place finish, the No. 51 of Jeremy Pelfrey and the No. 12 of Evan Duggins finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
