LUCAMA, NC :: When racing resumes Saturday night at the Southern National Motorsports Park Happy Father’s Day 370, both the weather and the action on the track promise to be hot.  With a full night of racing on tap, all seven SNMP divisions will be on display featuring a twin-75 lap Dirty Dozen event for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stocks.

Tommy Lemons Jr. currently holds a solid point lead, with rookie Myatt Snider 44 points behind.  Snider, though, has a full complement of Late Model Stock contenders just behind him, with two-time national champion Lee Pulliam, NASCAR North Carolina champion Deac McCaskill, Mike Darne and Ryan Wilson all with 20 points.  Pulliam and Lemons sit third and fourth in NASCAR Whelen All-American Series national points respectively, as well.

In Limited Late Models, Haley Moody picked up her first win two weeks ago, and looks to expand her 18 point lead over Travis Green and Dillon Spain in the 50 lap race honoring her father, Jerry Moody.  The Limited Late Model race will also be the SNMP qualifying event for Ace Speedway’s end-of-season Mischa Sell Memorial Race, to be held in October.

Also in action Saturday night will be Chargers, Street Stocks, Ultimate Body Shop UCARs, Legends and Bandoleros.  Tickets for this full night of action are just $15 for adults (16+), $12 for seniors, military and students (13-15) with valid ID, $6 for kids 6-12, while children 5 and under are free.  For more information, contact the track office at (919) 284-1114 or surf to www.snmpark.com.
