PELETIER, NC – A forecast of rain on both Saturday and Sunday has forced Bobby Watson’s Carteret County Speedway to pull the plug on Saturday night’s Summer Sizzler.
Track owner Bob Lowery made the decision on Friday with the best interest of racers and fans in mind after consulting with the National Weather Service. Currently, rain is forecast on both Saturday and Sunday.
The next race at Carteret County Speedway will take place on Saturday, June 22nd.
