Shane Leonard from Cape Coral, Florida captured the victory in the Pure Stock feature at Three Palms Speedway on Saturday night. ‘

Leonard started on the outside of row two. He made short work on getting to the front. Leonard took over the lead when on lap three the 44 of Rick Hess spun.

Leonard held off the challenges of Ryan Meiser in the Lehigh Septic sponsored 17. He finished second. Brian Hillyer from North Port, Florida was third. Rick Hess battled back to finish in the fourth spot.

First Dwarf car feature saw the 69 of Tom Pryor spin on lap two. Larry Hubbard Jr and Andrew Pryor were battling for the lead when the caution flew. As the feature race resumed the two drivers were battling again as the car of Chris Cook spun bringing out the caution flag.

The race went green again with Bonita Springs Andrew Pryor taking control of the race and taking the checkers. Larry Hubbard Jr came home second. John Atherton, Tom Pryor rounded out the top four.

The second Dwarf feature saw the caution fly twice before the field ever got one lap in. The first came out when the 69 of Tom Pryor climber the wheel of Larry Hubbard, Sr. in turn one bringing out the first attempt. Then the 21 of John Atherton spun in turn one bringing out the caution again.

Once the field settled down it saw the Atherton in his General Elevator Solutions car come from the back of the field to take the win. Second went to Andrew Pryor as he had a great evening with a win and a second place finish. Third also saw a car coming from the back to take the position. That was Tom Pryor.

Three Palms Speedway will be back in action this week. It is “Take Your Mom to the Races” night. Mom’s get in for $5. The card consists of Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Thunder Trucks, TQ Midgets and Go Carts. The action gets started at the new time of 6pm at Three Palms Speedway in Punta Gorda, Florida.
