The Southeast Limited Late Model Series (SELLM) is set to invade Franklin County Speedway on Sunday July 3rd.
Both the SELLM Pro and Challenger tours will make their way to the “Fastest 3/8 mile Paved Oval in the World” for their first stop at the 47 year old facility. The event will be the first of a two day show at Franklin County Speedway to help celebrate the Fourth of July. This race will replace a previously announced stop at Tri-County Motor Speedway.
“We’re excited to bring a big regional touring series to Franklin County for the fans,” said Promoter Langley Austin. “This is going to be a big event on Independence Day weekend and will kick off the first of a two-day show that’ll entertain and thrill fans from all around.”
The Pro division features some of the top Limited Late Model drivers from Virginia, North and South Carolina and Tennessee. The Challenger division is made up of rookie and younger lesser experienced drivers who are looking to get more laps before competing with the pros.
“If you haven’t seen a Southeast Limited event you’re in for a real treat,” continued Austin. These guys put on a show at every track they travel to and with the challenging layout and surface at Franklin County it’s sure to be one of the best races yet for the series.”
Additional details on this event will be released soon.
