Salisbury, NC(March 14, 2011) — RACE22 Radio made an incredible debut last week with our first show pulling in strong listener numbers and having a guest lineup made up of former champions and up and coming drivers in the region.

However, this week the show time will be moved to Thursday as a test to see which days work better for the show both with viewers and guests.

“We didn’t know what day to do the show on to start with,” said RACE22.com webmaster, Langley Austin. “It’s one of those deals where you try something out and maybe it works, but you think you can make it work better maybe on a different day.”

“We tried Monday and it was a success, but we got to thinking about how hard people who tore their cars up on Saturday or Sunday were going to be working on Monday to get ready for the next race. So this week we’re going to test the waters on Thursday and see if it works as well or better.”

RACE22 Radio will be back on Thursday with another great guest lineup which includes some of the weekends race winners including; UARA winner, Brennan Poole, PASS South winner, Jay Fogleman, Kingsport Speedway winner, Nate Monteith as well as some more of the stars of this regions racing.

“We’ll put out a guest lineup on Wednesday night as we get closer to the show,” said Austin. “We’re also working on making our show better, by upgrading our headsets and other equipment to make it sound clearer for our fans.”

RACE22 Radio will also debut a new producer this week as Chris Owens of Florence, SC will be manning the controls and this will be his on air debut.

“We want to try and do everything in house, so that we can control the show ourselves,” continued Austin. “We do everything in house from LIVE Coverage to Photos, Videos and more, so this should be done in house as well.”

RACE22 Radio has full support of our presenting sponsor Performancenter Racing Warehouse. Roger Johnson, who we introduced last week, will be back on the show this and every week as a co-host to bring us his knowledge from having worked on racecars practically his whole life. Langley Austin and Corey Latham will of course be back as the hosts as well, as we catch you up on this past weekends racing action and preview the upcoming weekend.

PASS South Series announcer, Alan Dietz and part-time RACE22.com writer, John Bowen will be checking in with us to give us a recount of this past weekends PASS South Series opener at Anderson Motor Speedway.

“We’ve got another great show lined up this week and I couldn’t be more excited about debuting the show in another time slot and seeing how it works out. We don’t want to confuse our listeners, but we need to test the waters and see what day works best for us and them.”
