During RACE22 Radio last night, host Langley Austin announced that Lee Pulliam would not be penalized for the on-track altercation.

Nick Igdalsky, owner of South Boston Speedway declined an interview on the show but confirmed to RACE22.com that Pulliam would face no penalties for driving off when Forrest Reynolds rushed on track throwing his radio at Pulliam’s car and climbing into the passenger window.

Igdalsky said that Pulliam was just defending himself and that he was already penalized for the contact on track by being sent to the rear of the field.  Igdalsky said that Reynolds penalty wasn’t decided and would be announced today.

According to other sources, Reynolds will face an indefinite suspension from all NASCAR Whelen All-American Series events.  An announcement is forthcoming on the penalty and expected to be released before the end of the day.

We will follow up with the release of the penalties as they’re released on RACE22.com.
