ARCA ANNOUNCES 10-RACE SPEED TELEVISION SCHEDULE
Officials from ARCA and SPEED jointly announced the 2012 SPEED television schedule for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, comprised of 10 events to be televised live or same-day delayed on the popular network. SPEED will kick off its live flag-to-flag ARCA coverage at Daytona International Speedway with the 49th running of the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at 4 p.m. Eastern on Saturday, February 18.

In addition to Daytona, other events scheduled for live and/or same-day coverage in 2012 include Talladega Superspeedway on May 4, Toledo Speedway on May 20, events at Pocono Raceway on June 9 and August 4, Michigan International Speedway on June 15, Iowa Speedway on July 13, Chicagoland Speedway on July 21, and the season finale at Kansas Speedway on October 19. The late July race at Lucas Oil Raceway will also be televised; series and track officials have not yet determined the race’s exact date.

RYAN REED HEADED TO ARCA IN 2012
Ryan Reed will be making the next step in his racing career as he joins Venturini Motorsports for the 2012 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season. Ryan will compete in selective 2012 events under the Venturini banner in preparation for a full season effort. Ryan Reed, at the age of 18, will make his ARCA Racing Series debut at Daytona Int’l Speedway on February 18th, 2012.

GARRETT MARCHANT TO RUN SNMP IN 2012
Garrett Marchant Racing along with BMR Motorsports is pleased to announce that Garrett Marchant will be racing the Limited Late Model Series at Southern National Motorsports Park. In addition for running for the track championship at SNMP, Marchant will be running a partial schedule with the South East Limited Late Model series. The exact dates for both series will be announced in the coming months as Southern National works on its schedule for the 2012 season.

HUNT MOVES TO EAST SERIES FOR 2012
Precision Performance Motorsports announced today that it has added Sam Hunt to its Driver Development Program roster for the K&N Pro East Series for 2012. Hunt has moved up from the NASCAR Whelen Weekly Racing Series competing predominately at South Boston Speedway in South Boston Virginia. He will compete in the full K&N Pro East schedule and will be a contender for the 2012 Sunoco Rookie of the Year title.
