SWANSBORO, NC – Carteret County Speedway was in the area that received some of the worst impacts from Hurricane Florence, and the track did not escape unscathed.

Toni Hawkins Jolly posted images from outside the track on Facebook today, showing damage to the facilities outside the track, though the images did not show if there was damage to the track surface itself.

Carteret County Speedway has not posted any official updates about the condition of the track itself or about owner Bobby Watson.  They have put out a post asking drivers and crew members to let everyone know they are okay.

Carteret County Speedway’s next race is scheduled for Saturday, October 6th.
