McCallister Precision Marketing (MPM) and Nesbitt Racing Enterprises announce another third place finish for 15 year old Texas driver, Cole Glasson, in the highly competitive Southeast Super Truck Series. Just as last season, the season point’s race came down to the final race deciding 2nd through 5th. Cole would enter the race sitting in 3rd, 7 points behind 2nd and 3 points ahead of 4th.

Glasson made a statement right out of the gate posting the fastest time of the session and remained on top of the charts throughout all three-practice sessions. Glasson came up just short of his 2nd Pole Award of the season when he was edged out by fellow MPM client, Ricky Bowers by 3/100ths to qualify second. With the invert, Cole would start the 12th race of the SESTS on the outside of Row 2. When the race started, the top 5 drivers separated themselves by a straightaway when contact sent Cole out of the lead pack back to 6th. He would quickly chase the front pack back down and move into 4th and then to 3rd before the first caution came out on lap 38. On the restart, Cole slid under the two leaders to take the lead for a short time and then settled back into 3rd. With one lap left Cole would make one final move on 2nd and getting to the door at the checkered flag. Cole came up just short of his best finish in the series as he posted a third place finish. The finish would be his 8th Top 5 of his 12 starts, and his 10th top 10 of a solid season. He would also finish 2nd in the Championship race for the year.

Glasson stated, “The team gave me an incredibly fast truck and we have been on top of the charts for two straight races and qualified within the top 5 all season long. When you think about it, those are pretty stout results which is what helped us earn the Runner Up Position for the Championship.” He went on to thank his sponsors of Starkey Mortgage, ProSoap, AM Technical Solutions, MPM Marketing, Driven Steering Wheels, McGunegill Engine Performance, K1RaceGear, Dallas Karting Complex, Comet Cleaners, and Real Sports Websites.

Tonya McCallister, Glasson’s agent, states “We came up just a hair short but felt we had a winning truck tonight and it showed on the track. It has been an outstanding year for Cole in the SEST Series and we are excited about the last truck race of the season at Myrtle Beach Speedway. We have some exciting things lined up for next year and look forward to announcing in the near future.” Martin Nesbitt, Team owner, went on to say, “Cole had an incredible year and we are really proud of him. We are looking forward to going for the win at Myrtle Beach Speedway to end the season.”
