Salisbury, NC(April 11, 2011) — RACE22 Radio presented by Performancenter Racing Warehouse is about to get lively once again as we settle in for our sixth show of the year.

This week, hosts Langley Austin, Corey Latham and Roger Johnson will be joined in studio by a pair of drivers who on Saturday night at Kingsport Speedway in Kingsport, TN, made contact while racing for the lead. George Miedecke and Kyle Grissom got together in turn one while battling for the top spot and the win in the UARA-STARS Series second race of the season.

Miedecke and Grissom will join us to discuss their versions of what happened with the last lap crash that left Grissom spinning and Miedecke penalized for rough driving. These two drivers are also off to hot start this season and could be two of the guys battling for the UARA-STARS Series championship despite their altercation on the final lap at Kingsport. We’ll let them tell you what happened and discuss the upcoming race at Newport Speedway in Newport, TN on Saturday, April 16th.

After those two guys got together, Brennan Poole took home his second straight win going two for two so far this season and he’ll be back in “Studio 22” to discuss his victory in Saturday nights race. Poole will also be able to offer his opinion and perspective on what happened right in front of him on the final lap as Miedecke and Grissom got together handing him the win. Poole will also help us break down the next race on the schedule at Newport Speedway.

Brandon McReynolds, a part-time Late Model Stock Car and UARA racer will stop by to discuss his opportunity to race for Turner Motorsports in the ARCA Series race this coming weekend at Talladega SuperSpeedway. McReynolds will also discuss with us his side project, the Field Fillers Fairgrounds, where he and his “Field Filler” buddies stage go-kart races out behind The Joie of Seating in Concord, NC and it’s grown into much more than just him and his buddies.

Kyle Moon, who joined us a few weeks ago before the first race at Hickory Motor Speedway, will be back Live in “Studio 22” to talk about his first career Late Model Stock Car victory. Moon qualified on the pole on Sunday afternoon and then went on to pull away from the field late to collect his first trophy at Hickory Motor Speedway. We’ll bring him back in to do a little celebrating and to tell us about winning with his family owned team for the first time.

We’ll also attempt to touch base with PASS South Series “The RACE” Winner, Chris Eggleston, who dominated the final leg of the 300-lap race. We’ll also be joined by PASS South Series announcer, Alan Dietz to help us break down “The RACE” at North Wilkesboro Speedway, the largest purse race for Super Late Models in the country.

The RACE22 Radio hosts Langley Austin, Corey Latham and Roger Johnson will also discuss the weekend that was around the racing region. They’ll discuss the races from this past weekend from around the region including the UARA-STARS Series race, “The RACE” at North Wilkesboro, Hickory Motor Speedway’s Sunday affair including a controversial finish to the Limited Late Model race and more from throughout the region.
